Molly Curley - ceramics

 

My pots are wheel thrown and fired by electricity. Using various clay bodies, most are slip-decorated, then glazed. All are suitable for use with food, and are safe in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. These pots are of stoneware clay, fired to 1280 degreescentigrade. My range includes bowls, jugs, mugs, teapots, plates and vases.

Much of my work is done using red 
earthenware clay, also slip-decorated
in whites, greens, blues, fawns and 
black. This is suitable for commemorative
pieces e.g. plates, mugs and name 
plates for houses  which are frostproof.
